SI MA GUANG AND THE GIANT JAR: AN EXPERIENTIAL STORYTELLING EVENT

The popular Asian folktale Si Ma Guang and the Giant Jar comes to life in a socially inclusive dramatised reading by authors Lee Seow Ser and Hidayah Amin, illustrator Tan Ai Khim and Hafidz Rahman. Experience what it is like for the blind to read stories with their ears and hands. Watch the tale unfold, discover how the deaf enjoy the story in sign language, and learn how to sign the gist of the folktale. This session encourages courage, kindness and empathy, and is great for children with or without special needs.

This session is suitable for children ages 4 and up, and their parents.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of the session to register.
